These windmills were in ruins when they were discovered in 1996 but have since been superbly renovated into modern holiday homes. Both offer wonderful sea views from their location on the slopes of Serra da Arrábida, which tumbles down to the mouth of the river Sado, meeting with the Atlantic Ocean.
