Occupying what was once a police watchtower, Dar 91 is a private self-contained house with its own roof terraces, in the atmospheric walled old town of Essaouira, Morocco's most laid back coastal town. Restored by local craftsmen, the 19th century house fuses Moroccan and European styles from the past to the present.
