Built in 1897, the tower stands in the middle of Amsterdam's Watertorenplein where it originally served as a boiler room for the municipal water company.

Even though this former lifeboat has long been decommissioned, it is certainly not out of service. Moored in the harbour at Harlingen, the same location as the lighthouse and crane, the vessel has been transformed into a stylish and cosy romantic hideaway. Concrete bunkers in Woudenberg

Based on the bunkers found in the nearby Grebbe Line, a very important line of defence during the Second World War, these concrete cabins are actually built into the earth on a working dairy farm in Woudenberg. There are six bunkers in total with each one providing a unique holiday experience for up to six people.
